Designs Created Just for You
The only real limit to what can be created for you is your imagination. Use the innovative designs that you find for sale here or visit the gallery and look at those works which have been created for other customers in order to spark an idea. Start with a pattern, a yarn or a color, and we can create together from that point.
Chose a pattern
There is a huge library of patterns available from a number of sources, many of them free. The original sources of knit and crochet patterns, pattern books and magazines, are still readily available. In fact, if you're a retro enthusiast, one of the first places to look is your public library. There may well be pattern books there dating back 50 years or more. Check out your favorite bookstore for more recent pattern books and magazine racks for current knit and crochet magazines. Your local yarn shop will have books and magazines for sale, as well, and may well have free patterns also. The largest selection of patterns, by far, is available on the internet. Virtually every yarn company has patterns on its website. In addition, there are craft sites and online yarn shops that are also good sources. I have listed some of my favorite sources below, but you can find many more with a simple online search.
Chose a Yarn Material/Color
Instead of starting with a pattern, you might want to start with a yarn that you've found at your favorite yarn shop or one you've seen as you browse the websites I've suggested or a website you've found on your own. Each pattern uses a particular weight of yarn and the size of the finished product will differ if a different weight of yarn is used. Different materials in the weight used in the patterncan vary the appearance of the finished piece but not really change the size. If you start with a yarn choice, I can help you find a pattern that is appropriate for it.
Putting It All Together
Wherever you start, I will spend the time necessary with you to put together all the parts that will make your vision a reality. I will then give you a comprehensive project estimate. Once the price for the project is approved, a 20% deposit is required before work will begin. The deposit is non-refundable unless I am unable to deliver the completed project. Your satisfaction is guaranteed, however. If you are not satisfied with finished project or it does not fit properly, we can revise the project or start over with a new design. If we are not able to come up with a revised vision for you, your deposit will be refunded in full.
